At Saartha Labs, we deeply value the trust you place in us when you use our application, Ezy Day - the field agent companion app that is part of our broader Ezy Serve solution suite. Ezy Serve is an end-to-end Field Service Management platform designed for planning, scheduling, digitization of forms, and creation of customized workflows based on specific business needs.

Ezy Day, available on Android and iOS, empowers field agents to complete, track, and submit their tasks efficiently while staying in sync with centralized operations. It is tightly integrated with the Ezy Serve web portal and backend systems, allowing seamless coordination between field teams and administrative users.

This Privacy Policy outlines the practices we follow concerning the collection, usage, storage, protection, and sharing of your personal data. Since Ezy Day interacts with multiple systems and collects critical data points such as your location, device identifiers, and user-generated input, it’s essential you understand how we treat and secure this information.

Ezy Day and the Ezy Serve platform are hosted securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and comply with data protection laws including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and app store-specific policies.

            When you sign up for or use Ezy Day, you may be required to provide personal and business-related information.                  This can include:

            - Login credentials such as usernames and encrypted passwords

        b. Device and Technical Information
           To optimize your experience across platforms, we collect technical information from the devices you use to access               our service, such as:

           - App version number

        c. Location Data
           Ezy Day actively collects real-time location data when the app is running. This feature is core to the value the app                 delivers to field service technicians and management teams. We may collect:

  •   Network-based location (Wi-Fi/cell towers)

  •   Background location data when allowed by the user/device settings

             Location tracking is used to:

  • ​Assign jobs based on proximity

  • Validate technician arrival and completion times

You can manage location permissions in your device settings at any time, though some core functionality of Ezy Day may be limited if permission is disabled.

Includes behavior, clicks, screen time, and interactions to help us improve the app and deliver new features, enhance existing functionality, and ensure a high-performing, user-centric application.

4. Data Storage and Protection

All data is securely stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS), using encryption both at rest and in transit. TLS is used for secure data transmission, and AES-256 encryption is applied for stored data. Role-based access control, MFA, logging, intrusion detection, and automatic failover mechanisms are used to ensure data safety.

Backups are maintained in separate locations, and access is restricted to authorized personnel only. All employees undergo privacy training and are bound by confidentiality agreements.

 

5. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We do not sell or rent your data. Data may be shared with:
- Authorized third-party service providers for infrastructure, analytics, or notifications
- Legal authorities if required
- As part of mergers or acquisitions

We ensure all data processors are under strict data protection agreements.

Ezy Day requests access to location (foreground/background), camera, device storage, and device identifiers. These are used strictly to support key features like geotagging jobs, uploading images, caching data, and identifying usage issues. Permissions can be managed from the device settings.
